Duties and responsibilities:
They
treat the entire body as opposed to just the specific illness or condition. According
to the patients mental, physical, and emotional condition the acupuncturist
determines the proper treatment for them. Provide health benefits, dental and
visual care, addiction treatment, pain management, and rehabilitation
assistance.
Salary: $49,844
-$133,700
Education:
Master’s degree and post baccalaureate certificates
from the ACAOM. 1,500 – 2,000 hours of acupuncture training and pass the ACAOM
exam to be licensed in any state.

Reflection:
This career does not draw to my attention. I would not want to become an acupuncturist. This is not something of my interest. I wouldn't want to stick needles into someone else. This job is a bit scary because you are sticking needles into someone and if an accident happens who knows what may happen to the patient. It pays a really good salary but this job is not for me.
