Athletic Trainer
Duties
and Responsibilities:
Athletic trainers
specialize in the diagnose, preventing and rehabilitating muscle and bone
injuries and illnesses. They can also be called an (ATC) certified athletic
trainer. It’s the ATC’s job to look out for the athlete in case of an injury. During
a game if a player gets hurt the ATC will be the first one on the scene and
will see what’s wrong and diagnose the athlete right then and there. It is
there job to inform the coach of what the player has and if he/she will be able
to continue to play.
Salary:
$42,690
per year and $20.52 per hour
Education:
They
need a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college. They need to
be licensed or certified by the state. The must pass the programs exam and
learn the disciplinary policies.

This
is an interesting job. I am kind of interested in this job. It pays well and
the hands on experience can be really beneficial. I can work well under
pressure and would be able to take care of the athlete. I would like to have a career
in this field.
