This quote means that’s you can get out of poverty if you work  hard for it and want it. If you are lazy and don’t want to do anything about it then you will stay poor. Being poor is a choice because there are many opportunities out there for someone that is willing to get out of it.

For example, you can wake up and come to school all grumpy and negative and you will have a bad day. If you come to school enthusiastically then it will make a difference in your day. You can’t always be negative about everything. You have to be happy about certain things and enjoy them while they last.

This quote means that coach dean was just doing his job and what was right. By doing what was right he left a legacy. That was what he was known for, doing the right things. He achieved so many victories in the time of his coaching. He built strong bonds with his players even after that graduated. He was rewarded and respected and honored for what he did. He was a strong leader and a positive role model.

This quote means that your focus shouldn’t just be on your dreams but also on living life the right way. Your dreams will come along as you live your life day by day. If you go about life focusing on your dreams then you won’t really achieve much in life. You have to focus on what’s really there. For example, if you want to be a professional football player, you can’t just focus on football. You will need to get an education first. In other words, you will have to do good I school. That’s when your dream of being a professional football player will come in. life is about living it day by day. Don’t go on with your life focusing on your dreams.

Reflection:

       I don’t really like this career. This is not something that I would do. It grosses me out a bit to be looking in someone’s ear, throat and nose. It’s a well-paying job but this job is not for me.

This quote means that the true meaning of education is intelligence plus character. You have to really understand what you are learning and have character towards it. Intelligence defines your character. The more you know is when your character starts to change. Compare yourself to day to the person you were when you were in kindergarten. Your character has changed because you became more intelligent. You are not clueless to the world. You know and understand what is going on around you.
