“I am not bound to win, but I am bound to be true. I must stand with anybody that stands right, and stand with him while he is right, and part with him when he goes wrong.”

Abraham Lincoln

This quote means that you have to be true to yourself, no matter what. You have to be honest all the time. If the person you are hanging out with is doing the right thing, it’s good to be in that relationship with them but if that person is doing wrong then its best you part ways with them. For example, if you have a friend who never goes to school, is always partying, disrespect everyone then they are the best person for you and its best that you let them go. On the other hand, if your friend is respectful, has good character, goes to school every day and does well, then you should stick with them and never let them go.
April fool’s Day

1.  April fools is on April 1.
2.   The purpose of April fools is to do pranks on one another.
3.  Ancient cultures, including those of the Romans and Hindus celebrated new years on April 1st. When the New Year’s Day changed to jan.1st many didn’t know or didn’t accept the change. That’s when other people began to make fun of the traditionalist sending them on fool’s errands and playing pranks on them.
4.  Pros: you get to prank your friends

Cons: you may get pranked on really bad or one of your pranks may get you in trouble.

“I trust that my hard work will pay off.”

Tyler Haws

This quote means that if you work hard in the end it will be worth it. For example, in Tyler’s place, he worked hard to get where he wanted to be. His goal was to be good in basketball and he did it. He kept going at it every day until he got good. In the end, all of his hard work paid off. He became to be the best at what he wanted. Working hard will pay off in the long run.
Hollywood High School

Hollywood high school has been home to many actors, models, and producers. Such people as James Garner, Jason Robards, Lana Turner, Dickie Jones, etc. have attended this school and graduated from it. This school has been a place where many concerts have been done. Along the wall of the auditorium, there is a mural of people who attended the school. The library holds a small alumni museum. It contains photos of the stars that attended classes there as well as donated letterman jackets, awards, banners, yearbooks, etc.

The school was built in 1910. It was originally a school for students who desire to work in the Hollywood business. By the 1920’s it became a school of choice for the children of movie stars. As time went by, the school changed district boundaries and the higher parents changed their children from school. The school now is a broad ethnic mix of students, speaking dozens of different languages.

Feelings

There are so many things going on in my life right now. One of the major things that is stressing me out are senior activities. I need to raise money for all the activities in less than a month. All together I need about $350. I do not have that type of money. I am also stressing out about prom. I’m so picky with dresses that I haven’t found anyone that I like. I really didn’t want to go because I don’t have the money, but my mom is making me go to experience the whole senior thing. I told her that it was too much money just for her to pay and she said that don’t mind the money that she want me to enjoy my last year. So I’m going to prom. I haven’t been feeling well for the past couple of day and I don’t know why. I’ve been feeling anxious, scared, depressed, and angry all at the same time. I have tried everything I can to get rid of the feeling but I can’t. I hate feeling like this because then my days go bad. I hope that these feeling go away soon. Today I lost my key and I can’t find it. I walked out of my house with it and now it’s not in my bag and I don’t remember if I did grab it or if I forgot it. I’m so screwed if I don’t find it because that’s my only copy and I’m usually the first one to get home. If I don’t find it today then I’m going to be stuck outside until someone else gets home and opens the door. I really hope it shows up somewhere. I lost my key :’( then I’m mad at my bf for some things he posted up on social media that really bothered me. Yes I know that I shouldn’t get all worked up about it or whatever but he’s done this before and it gets me mad that he doesn’t talk to me about it. We are supposed to be in this together but then where is the trust in things if he won’t tell me anything. He makes me feel left out and that it nothing to him when he puts things like that. But whatever I’ll talk to him later when it no longer angry at him. I’m really excited and scared for graduation because it’s in two months. I’ve been waiting for this day since I can remember and it’s finally here. I know that at graduation I am going to cry. I am a crier. Graduation is a really big thing for me because I am the first in my family to graduate! I am making my family proud. I honestly didn’t think that I would make it this far but I did. I can’t wait for that day to come Class of 2015!

I wouldn’t want to work in another county because I would be scared. Going somewhere where you do not know anyone can be scary. Another reason why I wouldn’t go is because I have my family here and they need my help financially and need me to be here to help out. Leaving wouldn’t do me or them any good. There are many good opportunities in other countries but that is just not for me.

“True independence and freedom can only exist in doing what’s right.”

Brigham Young

This quote means that you have to do the right in order to have freedom. For example, let’s say you want to go out with your friends but you have to clean the house, along with some other chores. You have to do your chores in order to have that freedom of going out because it’s the right thing to do. When you do right that’s when freedom exists.

Keith was a disabled boy who attended Oliviet Middle school. The football team loved him and decided him to give him his big brake. They decided to let him score a touchdown. The whole football team planned this behind the coaches back. The football team took him in as one of them. Everyone was surprised as to how this all went down. The Team let him score the touchdown and let him get praised. That was a thoughtful thing to do on them.

Many think that the short term gain will be worth the long term pain, but it isn’t. In addition, using steroids is cheating, and there is nothing worse in sports than a cheater. Don’t do it. “

George Mitchell, Senate Majority Leader, Presidential Medal of Freedom, Disney Chairman of the Board.

This quote means that cheating isn't worth t. You won’t get anything good about it and it will haunt you for the rest of your life.  Like the quote says, many people think that the short term gain will be worth the long term pain but that isn't true. For example, in a relationship, if you cheat, then that will destroy each other’s trust and even the relationship. It won’t be worth it. You will look back on it every day and know that you did wrong and that you hurt the one person whose world revolved around you. Cheating is wrong in anyway. Don’t do it.

“I won’t cheat”

Dale Murphy

This quote means simply that he won’t cheat no matter what. For example, he’s taking a test that will determine his next step in life and it is really important. He has to get at least a 98% to pass the test. He needs one more answer to do good but he simply does not know the answer. He will not cheat at all. He will keep his eyes on his own page and will not look around. He won’t cheat.

“Character matters most.”
Image result for dale murphy

Dale Murphy

This quote means that character is what matters the most. For example, when you are applying for a job, the person who is hiring you will look at your character. If you lack some character than they will not hire you. If they see that you are on time, can speak well, and look presentable, that show that you have some good character. What’s really inside is what matters. Another example can be that you see an elderly woman crossing the street; you stop what you are doing and go help her cross the street. That shows that you have a great character and that’s what matters in the end,

“Great beauty, great strength, and riches are really and truly of no great use; a right heart exceeds all.”

Benjamin Franklin

What is on the outside does not count, but what is in the inside does. For example, you can be rich and have everything in the world that you want, you can be the most beautiful person, or you can be the strongest person ever, but none of that will matter if you do not have a good heart. All of that is no use.  A good heart is of great use because it matters the most. What is on the inside is what counts. If you don’t have anything and are a good person then your heart will be valued and people will know of you. Having a good heart surpasses all.
